What is an AFFILIATE?
An affiliate program is basically a free partnership for the affiliate. It cost them nothing and offers them an opportunity to raise money for free. The only thing they need to do is place a self generated link on their website. The link should be visible, meaning don’t place it in a obscure place on their site. If people can’t find it then they can’t click on it, thus no traffic is generated. This link you can also post on your Twitter Account, Facebook page, Linked-in and more! Imagine inviting all your FB friend’s at one time to join you in your fundraising efforts by making a purchase. For every purchase you will receive 20% commission! That is $4 per t-shirt and you did nothing but post a link!

Is it FREE?
There is absolutely no charge for this service. After you have signed up through our backend system a link is generated that will appear in your backend administration panel. This link should be posted on your website, via a banner on their site, image, embedded link (like in a navigation menu) etc. You can also simply copy and paste it to your FB page or other social medias. In addition we will also provide you banner ad’s we’ve designed that are selectable through the affiliates backend CMS system that can be used on websites.

When this link is placed on your website and then clicked on, it sends the user to our site. (4thefight.com). A visitor coming to our site from the unique link provided to you is then tracked all the way through to their purchase. Once a purchase is made the affiliate program
tracks:

Order Status,

Customer ID,

Customer Name,

Customer Email,

Total Order,

Commission for order,

Order Date

Campaign Data.

You can login to your admin panel at any time and see the above plus your commission total:

Total Orders

Total Commission

Commission Paid

Commission Payable

Your Affiliate Links

Affiliate Link with Campaign ID

How do I get PAID?
Each month a commission check will be cut and mailed to you.

Email Your Friends and Family
Send emails to everyone you know using our easy and fun-to-use email tool. Import your address book, use one of our email templates or create your own, track results, and follow up. Soon, credit card donations will start rolling in.

Make a List and Check It Twice
Make a list of potential donors. Include everyone you know. Start by making a donation to yourself online. Your gift will set the tone for others to give.

One a Day
Ask a different person each day to make a contribution. If you get four $25 gifts, you will have raised $100 in less than a week. Don’t be afraid to ask for larger gifts. Cancer is an issue that affects us all, and most people are happy to donate.

Double Your Money
Many employers offer matching funds programs. Your $50 donation could turn into $100. Inquire with your personnel/HR department to complete the paperwork required to get your gift matched. Visit our Matching Gifts page.

The Mighty Pen
Send a letter in the mail to friends, family, and co-workers asking for their support. Let them know if you are walking in honor of someone. Explain why the cause is important to you; heartfelt messages get the best response. Don’t forget to send a thank you note to people who donate.

Bring It Along
Take your Web site’s address and contribution form everywhere you go and ask everyone you interact with to sponsor you. Remember, the fight against cancer is a great cause, and most people want to help.

Talk It Up
Ask for a few minutes on the agenda of any meetings you will be attending. Explain why you are walking and ask for everyone’s support. If you are dedicating your efforts to someone who has had cancer, tell that person’s story.

Offer Food
Offer healthy treats to your friends, family, and co-workers for a small gift your favorite Cancer Foundation. Most people can be tempted to donate.

Clean House
Clean out your garage or home and set up a cancer fundraising donation booth in exchange for your finds. Ask your friends and neighbors to donate their stuff to you, explaining that all proceeds go to the fight against cancer.

Celebrate
If a birthday or holiday is coming up, tell your family and friends that in lieu of a gift, you would like them to make a donation to your favorite cause.

Pin It Up
Post your Web site address or walk paper on the bulletin board at church or temple, in the office, at the gym, or at school. Make sure to highlight your name, phone number, email address, and team Web page address

Send the Message
Change the recording on your voicemail or answering machine to mention Relay For Life® and how callers can make a donation. Then, when you call people back, ask them to sponsor you. When emailing friends, add a “PS” asking for their support.

Her close friend passed away after a long battle with Breast Cancer. She declared to her ailing friend before she passed that she would participate in a local cancer 3 day walk in Atlanta in her honor. As time grew closer raising the $2500 required came to a slow grind. She had solicited her friends, family, and co-workers. She just had not raised the money she needed, she had come so close and words couldn’t describe what this meant to her.

It was at this time a friend told her about 4 The Fight Apparel. She was overjoyed with the opportunity to not only raise the rest of what she needed for her walk but to partner with a company that truly wants to raise funds and awareness about cancer. She received her apparel catalog and began to show the catalog to everyone. A few short weeks later she had sold over 50 shirts and acquired the money needed to participate in the walk to honor her friend. She participated in the walk and along the way she met so many great people, victims and survivors alike. She raised money for cancer and the heartfelt story she has brought home has changed her life.

Stories like these are why 4TheFight exists. We so desire to partner with the local communities to help fight cancer, raise funds and impact lives. That’s why starting in NOVEMBER Smith Drug Company has decided to partner with us helping to raise funds and awareness for cancer research by selling the “4TheFight” Cancer T-shirt line in their drug stores across the southeast. A percentage of all these sales will go toward cancer research.

The J M Smith Corporation is South Carolina’s 6th largest privately held company and serves over 1000 pharmacies in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky and Texas.

4 The Fight, a division of CauseKeepers, Inc. was created to help businesses, individuals and organizations raise funds and awareness for cancer.

While the N.C. Division of Public Health reports that cancer is now the leading cause of death in North Carolina, people across the state are relying more and more on a non-profit groups to help them deal with it.

According to newly released 2009 statistics, cancer claimed the lives of 17,476 people last year. Heart disease, displaced this year as the state’s top killer, was responsible for 17,133 deaths.

“Cancer and heart disease have consistently ranked highest in their toll on the people of North Carolina,” State Health Director Jeff Engel said. “For the most part, these are preventable diseases, so we must continue to educate our citizens about lifestyle changes they can make to stay healthier.”

Despite the recent statistics, Cancer Services is helping people beat the disease through early intervention and increased awareness about screenings.

Chuck Alexander is living proof that people are surviving cancer, as he beat prostate cancer eight years ago. At the time he was in his early 50′s and says beating the disease had everything to do with early screenings.

“You never want to hear your name and cancer in the same sentence,” said Alexander.

Alexander now volunteers with Cancer Services, a local non-profit that has seen the number of patients increase in the past three years.

Tara O’Brien with Cancer Services says they work to educate people about early detection while helping those fighting cancer find physical, emotional and financial help.

“Over the past three years alone we’ve had more than triple the amount of financial assistance that we’ve been able to provide to patients and families,” she said.
